Tell Congress: Support the VA Correct Compensation Act of 2023
For the last 30 years, the VA has systematically misused its power to refuse Title 38 VA employees the right to remedy routine payroll errors through grievance procedures through its overly broad interpretation of its authority under 38 U.S.C. 7422.
While the VA claims to prioritize these employees, such unfair practices undermine the recruitment and retention of the medical professionals who provide essential care to our nation’s veterans and weaken employee morale.
It’s time to take action: Urge your Congressional representative to support fair payment grievance processes for Title 38 VA employees by cosponsoring H.R. 6538.
