Meanwhile, 1.5 million displaced Palestinians have sought refuge in Rafah, enduring relentless Israeli assaults and teetering on the brink of starvation due to Israel's blockade of vital supplies.

Despite these flagrant breaches of U.S. and international law, the U.S. government persists in arming Israel. While President Biden has paused some arms shipments, others loom on the horizon. On May 11th, House Republicans introduced a bill that would compel the U.S. State Department to furnish weapons to Israel, regardless of the situation. It's abundantly clear: American taxpayers do not want this.
