Over the past two years, the COVID-19 pandemic has made it even more obvious that to protect ALL Rhode Islanders, we must protect our most vulnerable populations – served primarily by Medicaid.
Unfortunately, Governor Raimondo’s previous severe Medicaid budget cuts disproportionately harmed low income and minority communities and exacerbated problems caused by the pandemic.
