Tell Governor Newsom to speak the truth about UCLA's protests
On Wednesday morning, California Governor Gavin Newsom released a weak statement about the attacks on peaceful protestors at UCLA. In his statement, he was vague about who the aggressors were.
He stated, “I condemn the violence at UCLA last night. The law is clear: The right to free speech does not extend to inciting violence, vandalism, or lawlessness on campus. Those who engage in illegal behavior must be held accountable for their actions – including through criminal prosecution, suspension, and expulsion.”
Let Governor Gavin Newsom know that there is no doubt about who is in the wrong, and he must tell California Highway Patrol to stand down from violating peaceful protestors’ first amendment rights.
