Tell Labour: Lift The Ban in NI

Labour Party members in Northern Ireland pay the same fees and campaign for a Labour government.

Around 40,000 trade unionists in NI pay Labour's political levy.

2022 polling found a third of people want Labour to stand in NI and almost 2 in 5 would vote Labour.

Yet NI is the only region in the UK in which members are denied the right to stand candidates in local, devolved or general elections.

The Right2Stand campaign has been endorsed by GMB, Unite, USDAW and Community and by leading figures from across the Party.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Good Friday Agreement. Now is the time for Labour to renew its commitment to NI. Now is the time for a truly unifying government, for representation at all levels and in all parts.
