In response to a deepening climate emergency and growing public calls for bold climate action, new legislation in New Jersey has been introduced with the stated goal of achieving 100% clean electricity by 2035. This legislation, S2978/A4658, provides the funding necessary to scale up truly clean renewable energy sources like wind and solar. However, the fossil fuel industry and its allies are hard at work, waging a massive lobbying and misinformation campaign to try and include expensive new subsidies in the bill for more dirty energy development.

We need our elected officials to hear from us to make sure that public money only goes to truly clean energy projects that will help us transition off fossil fuels.
