Budget negotiations leading to the final state budget are in the works! Email state leaders and urge them to reconcile proposals and keep historical afterschool investments in this year's budget!

We are fighting to see:

- Historical investment of $105.7 million towards a new afterschool program grant

- $5 million dedicated to supporting afterschool coordination in New York

- Maintenance of state afterschool program funding for grants (i.e. Extended School Day/School Violence Prevention and Extended Learning Time) administered by New York State Education Department

- An established pathway to universal afterschool in New York
