In 2022, the Legislature and Governor agreed that reforms to the state’s financial aid system, Cal Grant, were needed to ensure more students get the financial aid they need to pursue their higher education dreams. Now is the time to take the first step and make a first investment in this year’s budget to implement Cal Grant reform. The California Legislature has just voted to fund implementing Cal Grant reform. Now our California leaders need to hear from you to keep Cal Grant Reform in the final state budget, which is due June 15th!
