Rhode Island will likely legalize cannabis this year. But will RI's legal weed law be racially and economically just? Unfortunately, that remains an open question. Join Reclaim in calling on legislators to ensure that the cannabis legalization law incorporates key racial and economic justice provisions, including:

• Automatically expunge criminal records for marijuana-related offenses.

• Dedicate a significant portion of the legal cannabis market for businesses operated by working-class people, people of color, and people harmed by the war on drugs—including a segment of licenses reserved specifically for worker-owned cannabis cooperatives.

• Ensure union rights for all cannabis industry workers.
