As the 2023 legislative session kicks off this month, anti-LGBTQ+ forces once again have their eyes set on South Carolina.

The bills our opponents are planning to push are alarming: Banning gender affirming health care for transgender young people, censoring curriculum, forcing teachers to "out" LGBTQ+ students, and even changing the legal definition of “sex” to erase transgender people under the law.
