Tell State Legislators: No "Don't Say Gay" in NJ!

Republican State Senator Ed Durr is attempting to bring the homophobia and censorship of Ron DeSantis's "Don't Say Gay" bill to New Jersey. Join us in taking a firm stand against it!
Last week, State Senator Ed Durr (LD 3) introduced legislation that would ban instruction about gender identity or sexual identity in grades K-6. This bill would allow parents to sue school districts that incorporate any lessons on these issues in these grades. Moreover, in grades 7-12, students would not be allowed to get instruction on gender identity or sexuality identity without written consent from a parent or guardian. This legislation is even more restrictive than the Florida legislation !
The Trevor Project has analyzed the impact of access to affirming spaces in decreasing suicide attempts in LGBTQ youth. This legislation puts students, educators, and our communities at risk. Send a letter to our state legislature and tell them to reject Durr's "Don't Say Gay" bill.
