Tell the Attorney General and RCMP to investigate Bnei Akiva Schools

Send a letter to the Attorney General and the Commissioner of the RCMP asking them to investigate Bnei Akiva Schools related to their activity counter to the Foreign Enlistment Act.

Recent news indicated that a quarter of graduates from a Toronto school join the Israeli military.

Bnei Akiva Schools induces students to join the Israeli military in a series of ways. The school commemorates those who join a force killing Palestinians and Israeli military representatives are brought in to present the case for joining the Israeli military. Testimonials on its website suggest the school devotes significant effort to inducing kids to join the Israeli military.

Those responsible for Bnei Akiva Schools should be investigated for violating the Foreign Enlistment Act, which states that “any person who, within Canada, recruits or otherwise induces any person or body of persons to enlist or to accept any commission or engagement in the armed forces of any foreign state or other armed forces operating in that state is guilty of an offence.”

Concurrently, former Bnei Avika students who’ve joined the military should be investigated for potentially committing war crimes. In an interview with the Canadian Jewish News alumni Zach Brown openly boasts about engaging in war crimes in the West Bank.

Alumni of Bnei Avika fighting in the Israeli military should be investigated for violating Canada’s Crimes Against Humanity and War Crimes Act.

A request for investigation was made of the Attorney General in regard to illegal Israeli military recruiting in 2020, and forwarded by the Attorney General to the RCMP for investigation.
