After the Danforth Kingston Complete Street Extension Phase 1 public consultation meetings in June 2024, the City was supposed to incorporate the feedback they heard and present their proposed design for a safer Danforth and Kingston to the public at the Phase 2 public consultation meetings this Fall. Then, based on more feedback, the City would finalize the design and bring the project to Council for a vote in early 2025. That would mean improvements could be made to Danforth Ave and Kingston Rd as soon as next spring!

However, the delay to the Phase 2 public consultation meetings mean no design input, no Council vote, no installation… most likely not until 2027 or later.

Scarborough cannot keep waiting. We need you to send an email right now to Mayor Olivia Chow and local City Councillors to ask for the Danforth Kingston public meeting that we were promised this Fall!
