BREAKING NEWS: The City of Glendale Common Council will be voting on a resolution proposed by their own City Staff to support the removal of the Estabrook Dam!

Now, more than ever, the Glendale Common Council needs to hear from you. Please let them know you want the Estabrook Dam removed once and for all.

Removing the Estabrook Dam:

• will improve water quality and benefit the aquatic life of the Milwaukee River,
• is the cheapest for Milwaukee County taxpayers (that includes Glendale residents), and
• will minimize flooding for Glendale residents located upstream of the Dam.

City staff have rightfully advised that “removal will significantly reduce or eliminate flooding of a large number of homes and possibly facilitate removal of those homes from flood plain status through flood plain map amendments.”

Act now to tell the City of Glendal Common Council it's time to remove the Estabrook Dam once and for all.
