Background:

New Yorkers have submitted thousands of public comments against National Grid’s proposals to invest in more fracked gas to meet the long-term.

According to a Public Service Commission order, New York State was supposed to make a decision on National Grid’s long-term plan by June, but instead, the company and the State have restarted confidential settlement negotiations in a separate rate case proceeding that will lock out the public.

Send a comment to the PSC today demanding more transparency and accountability to the public in National Grid’s rate case and long-term planning proceeding.
