Act now to send members of the Illinois Senate the message that school support staff – paraprofessionals, school secretaries, cafeteria workers and others – deserve the ability to take time off with their newborns, recuperate from serious health conditions, help care for family members with the same protections that other Americans have under the Family Medical Leave Act.
