This vitally important legislation, led by Senators Sherrod Brown (D-OH), Tina Smith (D-MN), Joe Manchin (D-WV), and Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY) would help save those multiemployer pension plans which are financially troubled while protecting the earned and vested benefits of current and future retirees.
