Tell the Senate to Support Increased Federal Arts Funding

Senate: Support Increased Federal Arts Funding

We are on the cusp of winning a significant funding increase for the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) next year, and your help is needed to make sure Congress gets it done!

In July, the U.S. House of Representatives approved $207 million in funding for the NEA and NEH each for the next fiscal year. Now, we need the U.S. Senate’s support to make sure this funding becomes a reality.

Contact your Senators today to ask that they fund the NEA and NEH at $207 million in FY23, the funding level already passed by the House.

The NEA and NEH support job opportunities for union creative professionals in every state while providing all Americans with access to enriching programs that lift up local economies. Additionally, the NEA and NEH are critical to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts, entertainment, and media industries.

Taking action today helps get us closer to our ultimate goal of restoring the NEA and NEH to a full funding level of $331 million, or $1 per capita. Tell your Senators to support $207 million for the NEA and NEH!
