Amendment #1 to House Bill 816 (D-Mussman) will make it possible for our members to use their earned maternity/paternity leave at any point over a 12-month period. HB 816 gives new parents, whether through childbirth or adoption, the flexibility they need to continue providing for their family. Please contact your legislator in the Illinois House of Representatives. Ask them to support this very important legislation.
