Tell Your Legislator: Work WITH Educators to Find Sensible Solutions to the Pension Crisis

On Monday, August 28, a report with many recommendations for draconian changes to public employee pensions was released by PFM, a third-party consultant hired by the state.

The JCTA and KEA leadership have been directly engaged with the Governor and legislators, and all of these elected officials want to address the pension issue in a manner that does not lead to a mass exodus of teachers retiring.

JCTA and KEA are working with other public employees and supportive partners in the Kentucky Public Pension Coalition (KPPC) to advocate for common sense solutions to fully funding our pensions, but we need YOUR help.

Click through on the right to email your legislators and tell them to COME TO THE TABLE and work with educators and other stakeholders in the Public Pension Coalition to develop a sensible, balanced solution to Kentucky's pension crisis.

TOGETHER WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
