Tell Your Legislators: Stop LB 461, Say NO to Tax Cuts for the Wealthy
We hear daily about the cuts being made to services impacting vulnerable children, the disabled, education and in other critical areas across Nebraska. Simultaneously, the needs in our communities rise and we are constantly being asked to do more with less. Any additional deep cuts to our revenue base will only make matters worse.
Currently, there is a large gap in the state budget and some lawmakers have proposed a plan focused on providing tax cuts for the wealthiest Nebraskans. The communities across Nebraska that will be impacted as a result of budget cuts (to pay for the wealthy's tax cuts) are not a special interest.
We share a vision for the Good Life for all Nebraskans, not for just a few millionaires who stand to benefit from these cuts.
