Tell your member of Congress and senators to join the call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza

Two-thirds of voters believe the U.S. should use its power to call for a permanent ceasefire and the de-escalation of violence in Gaza. Nearly 250 unions and other labor organizations representing a majority of all union members in the U.S., along with thousands of individual members, have signed the National Labor Network for Ceasefire statement calling for a permanent ceasefire.

The U.S. is the principal supplier to Israel of weapons, munitions, intelligence, and foreign aid. Without U.S. support, Israel could not continue to prosecute its war in Gaza. This gives the U.S. vital leverage and a moral obligation to demand that the Israeli government end its war in Gaza.

Congress needs to hear from constituents who want an end to the loss of life and suffering in Gaza. The labor movement has a strong and respected voice and can influence our government to use its power to bring about an end to the war before more people suffer needlessly, and before it sparks wider regional violence.
