H.B. 5419, An Act Concerning The Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services' Recommendations Regarding Regional Behavioral Health Action Organizations, was voted favorably out of the Public Health Committee, and is on the House Calendar.
As currently written, the bill would remove people with lived experience from the State Board which oversees DMHAS and cement a top-down approach to mental health and substance use service planning.
