Tell your state reps: Fix the NYC DOE tuition reimbursement system!

We have a critical opportunity to have the New York State legislature move on a bill, S1993A that would establish new oversight and penalties on the NYC Department of Education's tuition reimbursement system for Carter and Connors cases.

This is needed now because delays in legally-mandated reimbursement have become unbearable for schools and there is no resolution in sight coming from New York City. State intervention is the only remaining tool to fix this broken system.

By writing a letter, you can urge your state representatives to support this legislation and force New York City to make long overdue changes.
