This week, City Council has several huge briefings related to housing. On Tuesday, there is a special joint meeting committee meeting where Council Members will get updates on the Convention Center Masterplan. Then on Wednesday, the Council briefing will be on the Racial Equity update to the city's Comprehensive Housing Policy as well as an update on the planned 2024 bond.

Taken together, these three represent a golden opportunity for the city to create more affordable housing in the city. Sending an email or calling your City Council Member is huge for letting them know that you want them to prioritize affordable housing.
