At the April 10th Palo Alto City Council meeting multiple members of Palo Alto City Council spoke out on the importance of a rental registry in Palo Alto and supporting the nearly 50% of Palo Alto community members who rent. The Mayor of Palo Alto emphasized that the city's rent registry is deeply needed and must be created on a fast timeline and council moved for the rent registry to go through a new committee where it is less likely to face delays.
