We did it!

Thanks to the work of the RHA Coalition and thousands of activists, allies, and supporters across our state, the Reproductive Health Act passed the Illinois General Assembly on May 31, 2019. The bill now goes to Gov. JB Pritzker, who has vowed to sign it.

As we wait for Gov. Pritzker's signature, take a moment to thank your state representative and state senator for voting for the Reproductive Health Act! The bill establishes women's healthcare as a fundamental right and does away with multiple anti-choice laws still on the books in Illinois. As states across the U.S. move in the opposite direction, Illinois is stepping up and leading the fight to protect and expand access to reproductive healthcare.
