Thank Your State Lawmakers for Voting to Reject Governor Baker’s Amendment Undermining Abortion Access

Both the Massachusetts House and Senate rejected Governor Baker’s anti-abortion amendments to Section 40 of the state budget. The legislature’s initial proposal contains essential provisions that will improve access to abortion care for pregnant people across the state.
If the Governor vetoes the abortion access provisions, we have enough votes to override his veto, but legislators are hearing overwhelmingly from angry anti-choice advocates who are hurling hateful insults and trying to scare legislators into changing their vote. We need to remind our state legislators that we, the majority of Massachusetts voters, support them in their vote to remove medically unnecessary and politically motivated barriers to care.
Send a message to your state lawmakers thanking them for standing up for reproductive freedom.
