Springfield Park is a place that the city makes available as a facility for the public to enjoy.
Due to the Women of the Southland monument in the park that glorifies a traitorous cause that would have perpetuated slavery, may people are unable to fully enjoy this facility because this monument is an insult to the Black community in Jacksonville and patriotic Americans.
