Help us tell the City of Seattle to follow their own principles in the Seattle Transportation Levy Renewal. Currently, cars will be the first to benefit, transit riders will see an annualized decrease of 18% (adjusted for inflation) - and worse, even that funding isn’t guaranteed to be spent on transit.

Seattle City Council is actively disinvesting from transit, which is truly unconscionable amid today’s climate emergency and worsening traffic clogging our streets and delaying buses.

Council must increase the size of the Levy. The city’s own survey found that a comfortable majority of voters would support a $1.7 billion measure. And another City poll found that Transit was the voter’s NUMBER ONE PRIORITY.
