Oregon AFSCME Local 2831 and Lane County have been bargaining a contract since March. It has been more than four months since our contract expired and despite multiple lengthy mediated bargaining sessions, we still don’t have a contract. AFSCME workers have only received a 1% cost of living adjustment since July 2019 and we cannot wait any longer.
