For too long now, the administration at UMass Dartmouth has made poor decisions, which have had long-lasting, detrimental impacts on the University and its students, their families, faculty and staff. These decisions have cost the campus community dearly, in decreased student retention and enrollment, reduced quality of campus life and education, inadequate funding, lost connections with the local community, and a severe lack of pride and morale. It's time to call on the upper leadership of the UMass system to make drastic changes, as immediately as possible, to save UMass Dartmouth. Please add your name to this letter, calling for President Meehan to do the right thing by the UMass Dartmouth campus community, and make the changes it so desperately needs to not just stay afloat, but thrive.
