Urge Legislators to Pass SEBAC's Legislative Agenda to Protect Public Services

In addition to passing our contracts, SEBAC is supporting legislation that protects public services and promotes racial and economic justice. These bills include legislation that would:

End chronic understaffing by ensuring the state is continuously recruiting and automatically refilling vacant positions (HB 5445)
Prevent consolidation and mergers of our higher education institutions (HB 5300)
Fully fund and support the Contracting Standards Board to ensure clean procurement and preventing counterproductive privatization (SB 473)
Establish a zero tolerance policy for discrimination (SB 420) and a career-development training fund to assist with upward mobility for state employees (SB 419)
