The West Virginia House of Delegates recently passed House Bill 2500, a bill that would limit local governments from banning or regulating certain plastics and to-go containers and would disallow municipalities from banning “auxiliary containers” such as bags, cups, bottles, or other packaging, whether reusable or single-use.

The state should not have the authority to outlaw local bans. Contact your representatives and tell them to protect our #righttoregulate.
