We've been waiting for this for months and it's finally time — the Senate will be voting to expand the Child Tax Credit (CTC) on Thursday!

Way back in March, the House of Representatives passed a bipartisan tax package that includes expanding the CTC. It's not perfect, but it's a great step forward and would help millions of kids to escape poverty. (Curious? Learn more here.)

The bill then got stuck in the Senate, and we've been working on getting it moving again for months. Now, it's been scheduled for a vote in the Senate on Thursday, Aug. 1.

Millions of kids all around the U.S. need your support! Please write to Sens. Collins and King and tell them to them to vote in favor of expanding the CTC.

We know the 2021 expanded CTC helped millions of families keep their heads above water financially and drastically cut child poverty. Now, we need to send a clear message to Sens. Collins and King that we need support for families, not just corporations.
