Working Families Need Affordable Child Care!
Absent a continued and substantial investment in child care in the FY 2023-2024 budget including Facilitated Enrollment, workers face the sad prospect of losing the child care assistance on which they depend in order to retain jobs that pay the rent and put food on the table. People who work hard should not have to struggle to make ends meet. However, that is the unfortunate reality for many working parents as well as much of the child care workforce.
