As of March 6, 2025, at least 100,000 federal workers have had their roles eliminated nationally, or have been placed on probation or on leave. Federal workers make up 1.87% of the national workforce comprising just over 3 million people. And meanwhile, cuts to remaining federal workers’ pay and benefits are being proposed, at a time when prices for everything from eggs to energy are going up and up.

We need a government that does NOT cut essential services for our environment, retirements, economy and national security, all to benefit the ultra-wealthy and polluting corporations. A government that pays its workers fairly. A government for we the people.
