Burpengary Train Station is getting an upgrade – a proud election commitment I secured with community support.

Now I need your help again. Locals know we need more parking at Burpengary Train Station. And we did get some money for a park ‘n’ ride business case – right before COVID-19 hit and our station carparks emptied out. But it’s time to get going again and delivering more parking straight after Burpengary’s upgrade just makes sense. With thousands of new homes being built around Burpengary (Kinma Valley, Sage and Amity estates to name a few), we have a window of opportunity to influence that new local commuter behaviour. More parking at Burpengary Station could mean less cars on the road, better environmental outcomes, and more time with family and friends when you’re not stuck in traffic.
