Thank You for Voting Against Skinny Repeal

We did it! Last night we proved that activism works. Because of our letters, phone calls, office visits and rallies, we were able to stop the heartless Senate plan to repeal the Affordable Care Act dead in its tracks. We’re so relieved that people didn’t wake up today to discover they were losing access to health insurance.
Every Democratic senator, along with Sens. Collins, Murkowski and McCain, voted no on a bill that would have caused at least 16 million Americans to lose their coverage and premiums to skyrocket. There are very real things that can be done to fix the ACA, but none could even be considered while Senate Republicans were playing games with our healthcare.
