Federal Communications Commission, Chairman Ajit Pai

Trump's FCC Chairman, Ajit Pai, does not support the open internet, free from corporate control. He's publicly stated his position to "wipe away [the] net neutrality rules" that millions of people support.

Pai is a former Verizon lawyer. He's worked for Jeff Sessions. He's Trump's corporate guy on the FCC--and they are determined to undermine net neutrality and open internet communications. Immense public pressure could keep Pai from bowing to corporate pressure.

We're going to need to mobilize big-time this year to protect the internet.

While we know very little about Trump's position on net neutrality--aside from this strange tweet that has little to do with what net neutrality actually is--we do know the people around him want to remove the rules and pave the way for corporate interests to take an even bigger share.

Please, add your name to the petition to protect net neutrality. Leave a personal comment about why the internet is important to you, and we will deliver your messages to the FCC.

I support a free and open internet. Do not remove or change the net neutrality rules millions of people have already shown massive support for.
