Tell Congress to protect workers and support a bottom-up bailout

In order to protect his billionaire CEO and Wall Street pals, Trump announced that he plans to “re-open” the economy in a matter of weeks. This goes against all of the public health guidance we’re seeing from doctors and other experts.
Right now, we need a bottom-up bailout from Congress that will provides direct relief to workers – not force them to go back to work and endanger lives for the sake of corporate profit.
TELL CONGRESS TO support a bottom-up bailout that includes direct cash assistance, paid sick leave, expanded unemployment insurance, and student debt forgiveness.

As we’ve seen, our economy is built from the bottom-up. Health care workers, grocery store employees, farm workers, and small businesses are vital to our economic well-being, yet they are the ones who are most at risk from the COVID-19 crisis.
