Tell NCDOL to Attend Workers' Memorial Day 2019
NC Commissioner of Labor Cherie Berry
Every year, North Carolina Labor Commissioner Cherie Berry makes sure her name and face appears in every elevator and on every amusement park ride in the state, but her department's most important job is to investigate when workers are injured or killed on the job. Nevertheless, Ms. Berry declined to appear at the 2018 Workers' Memorial Day service or even to send a representative to pay respect to workplace fatality victims and their families despite being personally invited by family members and faith leaders after the service in 2017. At the end of the 2018 service, attendees marched from the capitol to NCDOL once again to invite Ms. Berry to attend next year. Join them by signing this petition!

Sincerely,
