Ban the Use of Tear Gas by the Police

Reps. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Mark Takano, and Chuy Garcia introduced the Prohibiting Law Enforcement Use of Chemical Weapons Act.
Congress must pass this Act into law!
Tear gas in banned in war for a reason. It literally kills people and is immoral. It also puts protestors at greater risk of contracting COVID-19.
The militarization of the police is appalling. We need, and deserve, better.
