Call for Brentwood Borough Council to declare a Climate Emergency

We are calling on Brentwood Council to declare a Climate Emergency now, and publish an ambitious Climate Action Plan as soon as possible.
We need to use our collective voice to show Brentwood Council how many residents want to see the Council taking real climate action.
We have asked Brentwood Borough Council to declare a Climate Emergency, but our request was unfortunately voted down at the Council meeting on 28th July 2021. This was despite Essex County Council and numerous other Essex Councils having already done so.
Brentwood needs to catch up.
For the sake of our future on this planet, we cannot afford to let this drop.
With your support, Brentwood can join other councils across the UK and build a movement so powerful that the government has to step up its action on climate change.
Please add your name if you think Brentwood Borough Council should declare a climate emergency.
