After a fierce outcry from activists like you, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) announced that it would officially limit coverage of Aduhelm. This ineffective, expensive treatment threatened to soak Medicare’s finances, and was responsible for a sharp Medicare premium increase this year.
Biogen, the manufacturer of Aduhelm, and its allies tried to undo the decision CMS made to limit coverage of Aduhelm, but outrage from the public — from your voices — encouraged CMS to hold firm.
But it’s still unclear if Secretary Becerra is going to reverse the Medicare premium increases that were put into place solely due to Biogen’s recklessness and greed.
