Cornell Owes Ithaca Schools More!

University President Michael Kotlikoff, Vice President for University Relations Joel Malina, and Director of Office of Community Relations Jennifer Tavares

The taxpayers of the Ithaca City School District currently carry 70% of the financial burden of funding the operations of the Ithaca City School District, while Cornell owns over 40% of the taxable land in the district and contributes a meager $650,000 annual payment in lieu of taxes.
