Daphne Jordan: Quit Ducking Debates!
Daphne Jordan, State Senator for NY District 43
The nonpartisan League of Women Voters of Saratoga County has invited 43rd district State Senate candidates Patrick Nelson and Daphne Jordan to participate in a candidate forum ahead of the November 3rd general election.
Patrick Nelson has enthusiastically agreed to a forum — but Daphne Jordan is M.I.A.
Voters in New York's 43rd State Senate district — which includes all of Columbia County and parts of Rensselaer, Saratoga, and Washington Counties — deserve to hear from both candidates about how they will fight for Upstate communities that are still reeling from the Covid-19 pandemic.
Join us in demanding that Daphne Jordan show up for a debate!

Dear Sen. Daphne Jordan,
I am dismayed to hear that you have not agreed to a debate with your opponent, Patrick Nelson, in the November 3rd general election. As a voter, I want to make an informed decision, and candidate debates are a essential way to inform voters about their choices.
Will you please respond to the request sent to you by the League of Women Voters of Saratoga County and agree to debate Patrick Nelson before November 3rd?
Sincerely,
