As an influential spokesperson on climate change, we petition you to support free and fair debate on the climate-ecological crisis and collapse.

The signatories of this petition recognise the severity of this crisis and the horrors that collapse will unleash. We are clear-eyed realists and deeply concerned citizens. We raise awareness about the climate-ecological crisis and collapse, and take action. We reject your assertion that recognising the threat of collapse makes us ‘doomers’, ‘deniers’ or ‘bad actors’. We reject your assertion that, in recognising the dire nature of our predicament, we lend weight to inaction.

Blocking, censoring, and denigrating those concerned about crisis and collapse is divisive and perpetuates business as usual. Your actions contribute to preventing the change required. Instead of shutting down discussion, we call on you to engage in free and fair debate commensurate with the nature and scale of our predicament.
