Do Right By Our Macon Neighbors at Vineville Christian Towers Senior Living Facility
Christian Church Homes
- No permanent air conditioning in common areas
- Mold & rust in AC units
- Mold throughout the building
- Multiple cases of bed bugs
- A small or non-existence security presence
These conditions are not something we, as their neighbors or as a city can, should or will tolerate.
The landlord has responded... their answer?
The company's most recent public 990s -- the latest available IRS filing -- tell a different story (cover page attached and linked here: https://www.scribd.com/document/413929252/CCH-990). They tell a story of a tax exempt, out-of-state company that had a net asset or fund balance of over $17 million.
With $17 MILLION sitting in the bank, Christian Church Homes of Northern California can afford to address these conditions. And they must.
Our neighbors raised their voices and asked for help. They don't have a team of fancy housing lawyers. They don't have a PR firm. But they have us — their neighbors. The company will receive every petition we sign.
So please, let's answer our neighbors' calls and raise our voices. SIGN & SHARE THIS PETITION!

To Whom It May Concern:
I have seen the media reports regarding the living conditions at your property at Vineville Christian Towers in Macon, Georgia.
There is mold. There are bedbugs. There has been a lack of security officers there. But most importantly, the residents have been without permanent air conditioning in their common areas during the peak of this hot, humid, Southern summer.
This is wrong. Your public IRS filings show that you can afford to fix these conditions and we're writing today to demand that you do that.
Please don't go one more second without addressing this. The residents deserve nothing less. Thank you for your time.
