Donald Trump won't secure our elections -- it's up to us

State & local election officials

It seems like Donald Trump will do anything to avoid addressing the threat of Russian election interference head on.

Our election infrastructure remains extremely vulnerable. Outdated and insecure voting systems must be replaced. Voters must be able to mark paper ballots which they can verify -- and which can serve as a back up. Election results must be audited manually to establish high confidence that the outcome is correct. Our democracy depends on it.

Americans expect their leaders to put their country before their party when facing an ongoing threat from a hostile foreign state. Tell election officials in your state and county to secure our elections and protect our democracy.

We must safeguard the integrity of our elections against any threat, foreign or domestic. It's time to update and secure our elections infrastructure, and ensure that election results are verifiable and auditable to make sure vote counts are accurate.
